Barbara R. Gross
Ms. Gross specializes in bankruptcy and commercial litigation. She has represented consumers, Chapter 7 Trustees, and multimillion dollar corporations and individuals (as creditors and debtors) in Chapters 7, 11, and 13 and been responsible for the administration of numerous Chapter 11 estates. While in sole practice, she represented debtors and creditors in cases under all chapters of the Bankruptcy Code. Ms. Gross also has extensive experience involving real property and the representation of small business owners.
Ms. Gross has volunteered her time to the California Western School of Law Community Law Project since 2010. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Bankruptcy Forum. In addition to practicing law, she is an adjunct professor at California Western School of Law, where she has taught Bankruptcy, Business Planning, and Trusts and Estates. Ms. Gross was admitted to the State Bar of California in June 1992 and the U.S. Supreme Court in December 1997. She is also admitted to practice in numerous federal district courts. She is an alumna of the University of California San Diego (B.A., 1986) and received her law degree from California Western School of Law (J.D. cum laude, 1992).
